What if the only person you ever needed to impress was yourself?

When I first really, truly and deeply felt that I was a spiritual being, threaded into the Divine fabric of the universe and made for a purpose specific to me but that could positively impact many people’s lives, the idea of it was irresistible to me. As often as I could, I would connect with Source energy and invite it into my life, engaging with the possibility of being able to understand energy and read my place within the wonder of my surroundings. Every night, I would stand at the end of our hallway outside of our kids’ bedrooms, and I would give deep gratitude for everything in my life. And I would ask the greater powers to help me see my purpose.

LOVE, USE ME.

And it did, and it does, and I have grown into spiritual gifts that I am grateful for every day. I get to listen to the delicious secrets and insights of infinite intelligence as my counsel. When I connect into the Akashic Records, I am humbly grateful for my ability to help other people discover freedom and confidence.

I get to play with the “superpowers” my childhood self always wished I had. And being a spiritual healer and transformer allows me the freedom to unstoppably engage with my surroundings in wonderfully powerful and rich ways.

Expanding consciousness within the stillness of being.

When we are clear on how we operate and what our core values are, we can respond instead of react; explore instead of defend; and collaborate instead of compete.

I strive to be intentional, self-aware, and mindful to expand my consciousness and my leadership. Sometimes that takes more stillness than action.

Conscious leadership is acute self-awareness that we bring to every situation, every relationship, every challenge, and every victory. It is self-knowing and consistently leading through love. And because we are human and mess up sometimes, being able to lead consciously also means leading ourselves back to our values-based and purpose-driven choices.

Conscious leaders know they are in constant cycles of growth and remembrance. As we each become more conscious with our leadership, we elevate those around us. When we become more aware of who we are, where we came from, and how life has limited us, we can become responsible for paving new, wider paths for ourselves, those around us, and the generations that follow.

I care deeply about the wellness of our future generations. With my commitment to always growing my own conscious leadership for myself and those around me, I can make an impact toward universal human equality, safety for all, and supporting the marginalized populations, especially our young female leaders who carry powerful transformational life force within them.

Let’s unleash that magnificent and crazy power!

Before I started to learn myself and grow within my self-awareness and self-love, I started to feel big pains about not using my gifts. I have always been a giver. I would give and give and give and give. There were repercussions to that kind of ruthless giving. Sometimes it was counter-productive, which was confusing at the time. With a ton of self-development and internal growth, I began to create projects that had a bigger impact. I began to focus my gifts and talents toward efforts that made a bigger difference.

I love this kind of work. Slowly, I am learning how to make a bigger impact better and in even more focussed ways.

And it can be easy to get trapped in blindness in respect to our own awesomeness, but if you were to create a list of projects, impacts, and accomplishments that you have fulfilled, you might amaze yourself. I challenged myself to make this kind of list, and I felt pretty awesome about myself after. I encourage you to give it a try. Here is a snapshot of mine:

At the time in my life when I became absolutely clear that I didn’t want my life to continue feeling the way it did, I also became clear that I didn’t know what to do about it. My new path toward freedom, peace, happiness, ease, and grace began with a phone call. I called my friend, Vik Maraj, and my life has been better ever since. It has also been filled with incredible mentors who I have enjoyed the leadership, guidance, stimulation, and challenging though incredibly rewarding growth as a result of ever since. I will never not have a mentor in my life in some capacity. And I have many, many wonderful people to credit

Vik Maraj introduced me to Landmark Education that fast-tracked me out of old habits (thank goodness).

As I was opening up to my awareness of myself as a spiritual being, I was so grateful for the guidance and gentle teaching of Kelly Vass.

I grew so many of my spiritual gifts and skills with the help of Kimberly Wuirch.

My meditation and mindfulness training started with my brilliant teacher, Mandy Trapp. She continues to be an incredible inspiration and teacher to me today.

Among many other beautiful sharers and teachers of wisdom, I have many anchors and coaches that help me process my shit when I get wobbly. Wendy Schneider is the grandest space of love and perspective I have experienced outside of the Akashic Records themselves. Extraordinary.

Every single one of my teachers and mentors, coaches and guides has been extraordinary. And I cannot name all of them here. And they all deserve credit. And some of them deserve the credit of the seed of equivalent benefit (the beauty and gratitude in the lesson of the experience).

And the spiritual journey, the awakenings, the expansion, and the up-leveling will never end. It is the most beautiful and powerful gift I have ever given myself. And I choose to continue to receive it.

Like everyone, I was taught many rights and wrongs when I was growing up. Like everyone, I still am.

You must work hard to be successful. No, harder.

Resting is laziness.

Take care of others before you take care of yourself.

And then there was the whole Catholic conversation that I ended up rejecting in a big way toward the end of high school. It didn’t feel good, supportive, or loving to me. And so I rejected it.

I called myself an atheist for a long time and found great solace in choosing to live well entirely for the sake of living well. Being good.

But when there still seemed something missing there, I moved on, always in pursuit of a better fit, a better me.

While exploring and examining my limiting beliefs, the programming that doesn’t serve me, unhealthy patterns that kept me tied to the railroad tracks of my own unseen devices, I started to shed the programming and reject the beliefs that were steering the ship by default.

I have overcome debilitating rheumatoid arthritis as a result of rejecting old programming. I have learned to know my value and stand tall in the face of any obstacle, even the ones literally trying to stare me down. I have chased my shadows and discovered my own light there.

As my choices became more intentional and conscious, I became more responsible and accountable for my life and my results. I became the true creator of my life.

And I’m still working on it. All of it.

As I go, I am still picking up new programming, examining it, and putting it down when I recognize that I have learned something that doesn’t work. It’s an ongoing exploration, this work of breaking out of the boxes.
